Parents go door to door to talk to community about the No3 Hillsborough county tax referendumFor the 8th largest school district in the country, getting the word out about the November 6 half penny sales tax referendum has been a community effort.

With a shoestring budget, the organization backing the Nov. 6 referendum — Strengthen Our Schools — cannot afford companies that pay people to knock on doors. Instead, SOS is relying on more than a dozen parent groups like this one.
